He received his PhD degree from Department of Chemistry, Stanford University in 2016, under the guidance of Professor Hongjie Dai, academician of the US National Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Zhang joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Southern University of Science and Technology in 2021. He has published more than 40 high-level research papers, including Nature Medicine, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Materials, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Materials, etc., with over 8800 total citations (Google Scholar) and H-factor of 27.

We seek to develop magnetic nanomaterials with innovative surface modification and binding strategy, to achieve highly efficient biomarker enrichment for large volume clinical & environmental samples.

2. Multiplexed biomarker analysis with high sensitivity

We seek to develop fluorescence enhancing xk星空官方网站 and strategies to achieve amplification free, multiplexed biomarker analysis with high sensitivity, and solve related clinical issues including detection of multiple viruses and mutations, various autoimmune markers, panel of cancer markers, etc.

3. Direct visualization of assays for rapid field detection
