Dr. Jinna Chen is a research associate professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the Southern University of Science and Technology, a high-level overseas talent in Shenzhen, and a senior member of IEEE. She is also a member of the Biomedical Photonics Professional Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, the Tumor Rhythm Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Society, the Young Editorial Board of PhotoniX Life, Series Editor of Springer Nature “Advances in Optics and Optoelectronics”, the Fourth Youth Editorial Committee of the Chinese Laser Press, and Young Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Optics (Online Edition). She engaged in the interdisciplinary research of precision, intelligence, and individualized diagnosis and treatment technology of critical illness, mainly in early screening of critical illness, submucosal tumor detection, surgical field tissue identification, and precision medicine. She has been authorized eight Chinese invention patents. She has published 60 SCI papers with an H-Index of 18 and 1364 citations. Her representative work has been published in journals such as The BMJ, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, Light: Science & Applications (ESI Highly Cited Paper), Analytical Chemistry, ACS Photonics, and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, et xk星空官方网站. She won the 2025 IEEE Optoelectronics Global Conference (OGC) Young Scientist Award, and the 2023 IEEE Photonics Global Conference (PGC) Young Scientist Award. She was the champion of the 3rd Entrepreneurship Planning Competition of Sun Yat-sen University's "Bauhinia Valley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Counseling Center" in 2018. She has served as the chair of the IEEE Optoelectronics Global Conference on Biomedical Photonics five times.
